CORPUS CHRISTI - Police arrested a foster parent yesterday for allegedly causing serious injuries to a two-year-old girl a couple weeks ago. 46-year-old Irving Eugene Patrick is charged with injury to a child and is being held on a $175,000 bond.

 
According to police, Patrick's foster daughter was rushed to Driscoll Children's Hospital from a home in the 4400 block of Cedar Pass after someone reported she was having trouble breathing on the evening of August 27th. The girl was later found to have head trauma, a broken rib and burns to her body.
